
Temporary visas to Australia

• E-Vistor Visa
An eVisa is designed for people who are outside Australia and want to visit Australia for tourism or business purposes. Tourism includes holidays, recreation and seeing family and/or friends. Business purposes may include attending a conference, negotiation or exploratory business visit. E-Visa can be applied for and obtained ON-LINE via the DIAC web site (please, refer to E-Visa for the full details). You can stay in Australia for up to three months on each visit within a 12 month period from the date of grant. This is a multiple entry visa.

Please, note that E-Visa holders are NOT allowed to work in Australia while their stay in the country.
Citizens of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are eligible to apply for E-Visa to Australia as from 27 October 2008.
Passport holders of the countries non-eligible for E-Visa can apply for Tourist Visa, Subclass 676 to visit temporarily Australia for the following purposes:
- tourism and sightseeing;
- visiting relatives or friends;
Please, note that 676 visa holders are NOT allowed to work in Australia while their stay in the country.
Should you wish to visit Australia for business purposes for up to 3 months (exploratory business trip; commercial negotiations, etc) you can apply for Business Short Stay Visa, Subclass 456
Please, note that 456 visa holders are NOT allowed to work in Australia while their stay in the country.
ATTENTION ESTONIAN PASSPORT HOLDERS AGED BELOW 31!
You are eligible to apply for Working Holiday Visa (Subclass 417) to stay and work in Australia up to 12 months.
